An opportunity for a freelance Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join my City Centre Based client.
Your duties will include assisting the Building Services Engineering and the Principal Building Services Engineer in the provision of advisory and prescriptive services for properties on all matters relating to the design, specification, installation, use and maintenance of Electrical installations. To assist the Principal Building Services Engineer with the leadership and coordination of a team of professional and technical staff in the management of the policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be an incorporated engineer preferably chartered with at least 2 years relevant experience or equivalent. You will possess a good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation including CDM and also design experience in electrical services, good knowledge of energy efficiency measures, experience of partnering, knowledge of building services maintenance and testing procedures. You are required to be IT literate with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Amtech or Hevacomp design software.
The position will be initially for a 3 month period however is likely to extend and is for an immediate start.
