QM SERIES ADMINISTRATOR - UNIX PLATFORM - £42K

Salary: To £42k based on experience

THE COMPANY
Our Client is a a national financial services organisation with a rapidly growing branch network across the UK. Due to continued expansion they are expanding their IT division and require a skilled (Websphere) MQ Series expert. This is a brand new role working on newly implemented technology and offers good career progression as the team is set to grow.
THE ROLE
Design, install and configure Websphere MQ, pro-actively Administer and support Websphere MQ, support Websphere Application Server and deployed applications. Installation and configuration of Apache Web Servers, assist in troubleshooting and resolution of application and environment issues and provide general technical support for middle ware and operating system (AUX) as required
EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have a commercial track record in the administration of MQ Series and have had exposure to UNIX (AIX).
Ideally you will have worked with Websphere MQ, and candidates with this experience will be given preference.
Your CV must demonstrate administration of at least 2 major MQ (Websphere) projects, and you should have a commercial track record.
This position is not suitable for a graduate as commercial experience is essential.
