Our client specializes in infrastructure development in energy, water, and telecommunications, federal, management consulting and environmental markets and is advancing the frontiers of knowledge they provide to their clients with reliable solutions to their most complex challenges.
They are currently looking for an Assistant Site Engineer to work for them on a permanent basis to work on water projects in the Fife area.
Key duties will include,
- Reporting to the Site/Sub Agent
- Attending regular site meetings, contributing as a member of the management team
- Understanding programme requirements. Organising work in accordance with programme. Inputting into a weekly programme and monitoring against programme.
- Be responsible for managing labour and plant resources effectively and effective use of materials
- Maintaining labour relations and morale liaising with Project Manager/Agent over operatives grievance and disciplinary procedures
- Organising plant and labour attendance for sub contractors
- Carrying out site induction training, assessing operative skill levels and monitoring performance
- Implementing safe working practices
- Contribute to risk assessments, method statements and systems of work
Ideally you will have a HNC as a minimum and will have experience in water/wastewater projects.
You must process a full UK driving licence and hold a CSCS card or equivalent.
