Senior Quantity Surveyor required for one of the leading construction companies in the U.K to be based in the Dundee office.
Specialising in utilities, transport, power and infrastruction, they are recognised in the industry for their outstanding client service, their quality of work and their commitment to health and safety.
In Scotland their client base ranges from water authorities to sub-contract work outside of the water sector, this role will be based in the Dundee office.
The dutieswill include the management and resourcing of construction contracts to maximise profit and the control of costs by compiling / assisting / submission of, the following and where appropriate, reaching agreement with a third party.
External/internal interim valuations.
Variations and final accounts
Cost Value Reconciliations
Monitor and supervise site produced weekly costings
Sub-contractor Accounts
Manage debtors list
Site measurement of the works
Account Forecasting and general costings
Assist with the negotiation of sub-contract Orders.
Assist with the resolution of contract disputes
Provide feedback on financial matters to the project manager
Provide feedback to the estimators
Assist in the bid management process.
